Welcome to Planet Janet Kitchen!
I wear several hats in my day-to-day life as a freelance writer, visual artist and cook. My chef trained husband Glenn and I often join forces in the kitchen when working on recipe creation. We used to own a gourmet food trailer business here in Shelburne, Nova Scotia called All Fired Up. We sold it back in 2011 but we remember the time spent working together in that small kitchen as being fantastic and fulfilling.
Even though we eventually moved on to other things we still love to noodle around in the kitchen. This blog will feature my efforts on a regular basis with Glenn chiming in now and then with a few helpful tips, foodie oriented articles and some of his own kitchen concoctions.
Great site Janet. I will attempt fudge, but with no microwave on the boat who knows how it will turn out!!!

Well just boil the mixture until it reaches the soft ball stage and it should be okay! I’m looking forward to a crock-pot recipe recommendation!
